Aim: How do we evaluate algebraic expressions?

Write each expression another way.

1. 12x 2. 4/y 3. 3xy/2
12*x y÷4 3⋅x⋅y/2
12⋅x y
x(12) 4
12 x X

Explain the difference between variable and a constant.

The different between variable and constant is that, variables are letters that represents a number that can vary in a equation and a constant is a number that can never change.
